Leadership in a time of crisis
Experience has taught us that planning in advance for the unexpected is usually the best way to manage through crisis. With that in mind, Dan organized and began leading Wahlburgers’ Covid-19 Task Force in early March 2020 to get ahead of the impending crisis and adapt swiftly. Our early action kept the team in front of most developments as they shifted to a primarily off-premises model, prioritized the health and safety of their crew and guests, restructured our communications plans, and established the #WhateverYouNeed community outreach initiative. Wahlburgers has since provided tens of thousands of free meals to employees, first responders, health care professionals, and families in need in 22 markets across the US and Canada.
